The Carriage House Cottage is within walking distance of historic downtown Silver City, New Mexico with unique galleries, restaurants, and shops, and also the campus of Western New Mexico University, and the public library. There are many interesting day trips, such as the Gila Cliff Dwellings, and the City of Rocks State Park. The area is great for walking, hiking, bird watching as well as for business visitors.
